Suncrest® Certified Greenhouse Hydroponic Growers

SUNCREST™ works with local greenhouse (GH) growers to enable them to grow premium quality lettuce and leafy-greens in high-volume, all year round for local markets.

Each of Suncrest's licensees is given a territory into which Suncrest sells and distributes the lettuce that is grown. By controlling the sales and distribution, Suncrest is able to build a strong local brand and customer sales for the grower.

Local greenhouse (GH) growers use Suncrest® DWC Hydroponic Systems in their GHs. They either build new GHs or retrofit existing greenhouses for food production. Each step of the way, Suncrest provides engineering, know-how and support to create safe, sustainable, high-efficiency growing environments.

Training in DWC hydroponic growing methods, insect control with OMRI certified organic sprays as well as training in USDA Good Agriculture Practices (GAP) and Good Handling Practices (GHP) are all included as part of the service Suncrest provides growers under its licensing arrangement.

According to the University of Arizona's CEAC (Controlled Environment Agriculture Center), there are about 21,000 acres of greenhouses in the U.S., but this is just a fraction of the greenhouses in Europe (261,000 acres) and China (7,500,000 acres).
