Food safety is mission critical in our business and our DWC technology control systems were specifically designed to maintain drinking water standards throughout our hydroponic process. In addition to constant UV sterilization, we regularly test our water and lettuce for pathogens and other potential hazards. Thanks to DWC, our lettuce floats in rafts on top of the water so the leaves are clean and dry during the growing cycle.

We work with our growers to become USDA GAP & GHP Certified (Good Agricultural Practices Program) to insure a clean growing environment and safe food handling procedures during planting, transplanting, harvesting and packaging. From day one, traceability has bee part of our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
